WHAT TO DO WITH NOBLE 01:
Drinks
Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned:
Muddle orange and bitters, add bourbon and your maple-bourbon syrup, stir with ice. Garnish with orange peel.
Whiskey Sour Twist:
Use your syrup instead of simple syrup — gives it depth and warmth.
Maple Bourbon Cold Brew:
Stir a spoonful into cold brew coffee for a smooth, spiked flavor (add a splash of cream if you like).
Savory Cooking
Glaze for Roasted Meats:
Brush on pork chops, ribs, chicken thighs, or duck during the last few minutes of roasting or grilling.
Bacon or Brussels Sprouts Glaze:
Toss roasted Brussels sprouts or pan-fried bacon in the syrup near the end of cooking.
Salmon or Glazed Tofu:
Combine with soy sauce, garlic, and a little chili for a killer sweet-savory glaze.
Desserts
Drizzle on vanilla ice cream – Especially good with toasted pecans or walnuts.
Pecan pie with maple-bourbon twist – Use the syrup in place of some corn syrup or sugar.
Bourbon-maple whipped cream – Whip cream and fold in a bit of your syrup for a grown-up topping.
Breakfast & Brunch
Drizzle on French toast or waffles – You could even spike it with a little bourbon before serving warm.
Cocktail-style oatmeal – Stir into oatmeal with toasted nuts and cinnamon for a boozy brunch bowl.
Yogurt bowl topper – Add roasted fruit or nuts and a drizzle of the syrup.
Bourbon Maple Glazed Pork Chops
Ingredients (Serves 2–4):
2–4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (¾" to 1" thick)
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon oil (olive or neutral)
½ cup bourbon maple syrup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1–2 teaspoons soy sauce (balances sweetness)
Optional: a pinch of chili flakes or smoked paprika
Instructions:
Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and sear the chops for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add:
Bourbon maple syrup
Dijon mustard
Apple cider vinegar
Soy sauce
(Optional) chili flakes or paprika
Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes, until it thickens slightly into a glaze.
Return the pork chops to the pan. Spoon glaze over them and cook for another 3–5 minutes, turning once, until fully cooked and glazed. (Internal temp should hit 145°F / 63°C.)
Let rest for a few minutes. Spoon extra glaze from the pan over before serving.
Serving Ideas:
Serve with roasted sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, or grits
Add a side of roasted Brussels sprouts or a shaved fennel salad
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley
