British Columbia Grown Local Organic French Green Lentils are a rare and highly sought-after, deep green variety of lentils. These lens-shaped legumes are known for their quick-cooking nature, high protein content, and the firm texture that holds its shape. They're deep green in colour with subtle, beautifully mottled patterns. Sizing is approximately 3/16" in diameter. Their flavour is robust and peppery! Use in hearty and warming soups and stews, toss with salads, use to stuff vegetables. Pairs well with lamb, salmon and duck confit.
