Forvm Merlot Vinegar / 500 ml

A fruity, bittersweet Catalan vinegar made from young organic merlot wine. Made with 100% young organic wine of Merlot variety. Its violet colours with intense reddish tones, allow us to play with countless elaborations (especially pastry). The palate is pure fruit and gives us a very vivid flavor reminiscent to red wild fruits, jam, strawberries, cherries, with a soft aftertaste, fresh and bittersweet very typical of our FORVM vinegars. It will become the secret ingredient of your creations.

Unlike Forvm’s other vinegars, the merlot vinegar has not been aged in oak casks and contains 35% grape juice, which gives sweeter, more rounded flavours. The intense red-violet hue gives a vibrant touch of colour to salads. The red fruit flavours also work well with desserts – use the vinegar in a sweet reduction and drizzle over fresh fruit salads or red berry cheesecake. Once opened consume within one month.
