Advieh, sometimes spelled "adwiya," is a highly aromatic seasoning blend used extensively in traditional Persian cooking. Advieh (which comes from the Farsi word meaning "spice mixture") is a key component of signature Persian dishes including traditional khoresh (or "stew") recipes and rice pilafs.
It's a blend of highly fragrant spices including nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon. The colour is smooth golden brown powder with noticeable flakes of pink rose petals. A delicious way to season meat, poultry, vegetables and grains. Authentic blend of spices typically used to season stews, kebabs and rice. You could use to season stews, add a floral note by sprinkling over sugar cookies, season root vegetables before roasting, apply as a dry rub to meats before grilling & more!
